. Ghost Stories was to be released with a CD version of the album in a plain sleeve, but Machine Music requested that the production should stop. However, at the point of their request the production of the vinyl was too far down the line to be halted without incurring substantial financial loses to OTB Records. Therefore the vinyl was produced. Unfortunately CDs take much less time to produce and hadn't gone into full production when OTB Records received the stop request, so the CD production was cancelled. Also cancelled was a CD but presented in a bespoke metal square case. Limited to just 50 copies numbered from 1 to 50. Separate edition of the above-mentioned CD but presented in a bespoke metal circular case. Limited to just 50 copies numbered from 51 to 100. this was also cancelled. These are the approx. numbers of vinyl copies of Ghost Stories dispatched: 49 copies of the red and black 43 copies of the white and black 37 copies of the yellow and black (Information kindly supplied by Richard Churchward and Kevin Spencer) |
